Danish Sound Parts

New dustcover for the following Bang & Olufsen models:

Beogram 4002
Beogram 4004
Beogram 6000 (Types 55xx only).

This is the “smoked”-color acrylic part of the dust cover with readily fitted rubber bumpers for the front corners.

This is a direct replacement for original Bang & Olufsen part # 3164190 (later part of part# 3164184).

Comes with new screws and fiber washers.
Don’t reuse the original screws. Use only the screws and washers included with the new dustcover.

Manufactured by Danish Sound Parts.

Note: Screws should not be VERY tight. Tighten until screws start to “bite” and add an eighth (1/8) of a turn. No more.

Note: This product was cast (injection molded) in one piece. It has no glued seams.
Very slight weld lines from the molding process (also found on original parts) could be visible under certain light conditions and should be accepted.

Note: For cleaning this product use only a soft cloth. If very dirty use handwarm water and dishwasher liquid.
Never use any solvents (acetone, ethanol, gasoline etc.) when cleaning this product.

Note: Original hoods are not all entirely identical. They vary slightly, presumably because different molds were used over the original production years.
Variations in hood width of up to +/-1mm have been noted. It therefore cannot be completely guaranteed that the original aluminium trim strip will be an exact fit when transferred directly from the original hood to the new.

A new brushed and anodized aluminium trim strip can be found here.
